How long does fitting take?
Premium takes 3 to 4 hours. Pro takes 5 to 6 hours. You collect it the same day.
When can you fit it?
We hold seats in stock, so you get a firm fitting date when you book. We are now booking November.
What about insurance and MOT?
The seat is M1 tested and you get a certificate of conformity for insurance and MOT. Tell your insurer about the conversion.
Can it go back to two seats later?
Yes. A Defender conversion can be returned to two-seat commercial spec later. We quote for this on request.
What happens to the rear windows?
On the Premium, the rear windows are uncovered with genuine Land Rover mouldings and finishing trims. On the Pro, they are also made to open and close.
Do I get a VAT invoice?
Yes. Businesses get a VAT invoice for every job. Confirm the tax position with your accountant.
Where do you fit it?
At our workshop: Unit 26, Waterhouse Business Centre, 2 Cromar Way, Chelmsford CM1 2QE. Fleet and trade customers can arrange on-site fitting.
What warranty do I get?
Our fitting has a 12-month workmanship warranty. The seat carries its manufacturer's warranty.
